The player may choose to enter a battle with multiple enemies at once by activating a "time-shift" system, in which time slows down and they may run up to multiple enemies before the battle. The skills of the units in the player's unions, which include both story characters and hireable units not appearing outside of battle, vary according to different parameters.
At the beginning of each turn the player selects from a group of choices what attack types each union will perform; the player is unable to select the individual attack of each unit. Special attacks require "action points", which continually accrue during each battle. As the enemy makes their selections at the same time, it is possible for a union to be "deadlocked", or forced to fight a different union than the player or enemy had selected. When multiple unions are deadlocked onto the same enemy, some of the unions can flank the enemy or attack from the rear for extra damage.
Many of these take the player to an area immediately upon acceptance and return them once completed, while "guild quests" do not require acceptance and may be turned in by the player whenever the accomplishments listed in the quest are completed.
Rush's equipment can be upgraded to many different options, while other units request materials for their own, which can be downloadd at stores, acquired in battles, or found in areas using a creature called Mr. Diggs can upgrade the abilities to enable him and find more or higher quality materials.
The game revolves around "Remnants", ancient magical artifacts, which sparked several wars throughout history. Powerful Remnants which remain unbound for too long have the potential to cause a "collapse" and spawn monsters. His sister, Irina, is kidnapped at the start of the game. They have their own names and skillsets, though the main characters have special additional skills.
He is assisted by Wilfred Hermeien, the council leader of Nagapur, and Wagram, a sorcerer. Story[ edit ] The game begins with Rush seeing a fight between David's army and monsters. He is recruited by the generals.
When investigating a Remnant causing to collapse, they meet Wagram. After chasing him for several missions, the group attends the Congress meeting for the leaders of the city-states in Elysion, home to the Ark Remnant leading to the Sacred Lands and the Academy, a research institution devoted to study Remnants, where Rush's parents also work. While the heroes protect Celapaleis, the Conqueror himself arrives at Athlum and takes the Remnant, shrinking it to a normal-sized sword.
When Rush and his allies return to Elysion, Irina reveals her special power, which can unbind any bound Remnants. They discover that Hermeien wanted to be a supreme ruler, and attempts to use the Conqueror and Wagram to bring war with Remnants. Irina uses Nagapur's Remnant to protect everyone, while the dragon-like Remnant destroys half of the city.

Other than that, TLR Planner is pretty good for telling you when side quests are available and it has maps of the zones that you can also find in the wiki. Remnant Assistant is useful for tracking skills a bit better than tlr planner as well. And obviously having the wiki on hand is never a bad option, to check the requirements of classes, skills and where a specific enemy can spawn for example.
Thanks Fel for pushing my guide, so I don't have to Unfortunately this is not yet the case Thank you for the compliment Fel.
I would like to clarify that there are two different areas of knowledge about the game that have some overlap. One has to do with knowledge playing the game, the other with how things work internally in the game.
My hours are much lower, though I have a lot from"poking the game" to understand it to make RemnantAssistant; I am now doing my 4th full run of the game. My memory from GF is that I started playing before he did, but he finished 5 or 6 runs about the time I finished my 1st or started my 2nd. Thanks all. And good work on the guides and apps. What mod version would you guys recommend. I have played before and like grinding for parts, skills etc Thanks in advance.
Kickinchicken The Wiki is located here: Originally posted by BlackKanda:. The mod basically locks your opponent's BR according to a certain curve tied to story points , while in the unmodded game they would adapt to your BR within a certain range.
The latter also can make some enemies a bit harder. Problem is that it only makes sense to use that mod, if you exactly know what you're doing. If you chose a too 'easy' version of the mod, the enemies stay at their easiest level, but you might not gain stats from them any more you can only gain stats from enemies with a BR equal or higher than yours.
If you chose a curve which is too steep, the game will get harder than normal, sometimes close to impossible. So it's kind of impossible to recommend the 'right' version of that mod. It depends on what you're going to do in your playthrough.
The BR mod does not 'fix' the BR system in the game; it only allows you to change the BR of your enemies to a level which you can control yourself.
